Charity through Art (CHAART) Foundation

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Yes, CHAART will be happy to match/double/enhance your contribution to supporting charities.  To increase donor participation and to be in tune with our financial ability, CHAART will match your donation up to $500 per individual donor per year, and up to a total of $5,000 per charity per year. After that amount, we will add/enhance your contribution based on our financial ability

While CHAART is not legally obligated to match/enhance donor contribution, we will do our best to match/enhance as stated by us.

We expect to disburse the matching/enhancing donation to the select charity within a month of receiving proof of donation from the donor and will communicate to the donor once the matching/enhancing contribution is made. Please contact us if you do not hear from us within a month.

Once donation is made to a CHAART supporting charity, we encourage you to send the receipt to CHAART so you can be recognized as a CHAART Donor and receive three advantages: (i) We match/double/enhance your donation to your chosen charity, irrespective of whether such donation is matched by other parties. (ii) We provide complimentary passes to CHAART organized dance concerts. (iii) We thank you by offering a wide range of art gifts.

Since donations to supporting charities are made directly to them, please contact those charities for a receipt for your donation. Please email the receipt to us for our matching/enhancing purpose. For donations made to CHAART, you will get a receipt emailed to you.

CHAART recognizes that there are numerous charity organizations in the world doing great humanitarian service. Funding all or most of them is virtually impossible for one organization such as ours. Hence, we focus mainly on helping the ten supporting charities listed on our website and match/enhance donor contributions only to these charities. However, if our funds permit, we do give some donations to other non-political, non-religious charities on an ad-hoc basis. In the past, such organizations have included Allen Public Library, Asha for Education, and Plano Independent School District.
